Hello!
The Pride in Place Programme gives power to local people and partnerships, bringing together residents, the local MP, the council, businesses and community organisations to help shape the future of the area.
This is a new 10-year funding programme for the area east of Moorend Avenue and north of Berwicks Lane to the edge of Chelmsley. It brings £20 million of funding, and it is up to the community to help decide how it can be used to build a stronger, thriving place and empower local people.
You can get details on the programme from the government website:

We Are Just Beginning
We are at the start of the programme and at the moment are trying to get everyone in the area involved. If you live in the patch, be a part of it!
This website will grow as we get more things going and as ideas develop. You can also follow the Chair’s personal Facebook page.
We're running regular community meetings, supporting local groups and showing up at local events.
Who Are We?
The main answer to this question is … us! The people who live and work in the east side of Chelmsley Wood.
The programme is designed to be community-led. A chair has been appointed, Working Groups are being formed around key themes, and a Neighbourhood Board will help pull ideas together into a shared plan for approval.
